This Cemetery was purchased by the Hague Township, from Benjamin Mcpeek in 1889, for $20.00, there were two acres involved in this transaction, but wasn't recorded until 1937. According to the grave markers the first burial took place in 1886, and the last in 1943, so there were burials before the land was purchased.
